Who runs this
The OpenArt Starter Pack is run by the creator behind the OpenArt Starter Pack (Thomas Creates) ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy, or requests to see or remove your data, go to hello@openartstarterpack.com.
We are independent. We are not OpenArt, and OpenArt does not run, sponsor or endorse this site.
What we hold
From the email boxYour email addressSent when you tell us which email you used on OpenArt. Without it we cannot tell which signup is yours. We also use it for at most two reminders if your signup does not show up.
From the claim formYour email addressSent when you submit a claim. We use it to switch on your Starter Pack and to contact you about it.
Reference codeA random claim IDCreated only if you pass through our
/go link on the way to OpenArt. It means nothing on its own; it lets us connect a signup to whoever claims it.Inside the toolsHow you use themWhat you type into the tools, the images you upload to them (reference images, character photos, scripts), what they produce, and sign-in times. We need these to run the tools, apply usage limits and look into abuse. If you connect your OpenArt account, we hold the access it grants so renders can run on your own credits.
We never see card details. Your card only ever goes into OpenArt's own checkout. You pay us nothing, and this site has no checkout.
Cookies and storage
We set one first-party cookie, pfd_claim, and only if you go through our /go link. It holds the random claim ID above, expires after 60 days and does nothing else. The main buttons on the offer page link to OpenArt directly and do not set it.
The offer page also keeps three small flags in your own browser (pfd_went, pfd_pending, pfd_lead): whether you clicked through to OpenArt, whether this tab is waiting for your email, and whether you already gave it. That way the page does not ask twice. They stay on your device.
When you arrive at OpenArt, its affiliate platform, Tolt, sets its own referral cookie on OpenArt's site. That is how OpenArt knows you came from us. That cookie belongs to them, lasts as long as they set it to, and falls under OpenArt's privacy policy. Ad blockers and privacy browsers often block it, which is why the offer page asks you to turn yours off for the signup.
How long we keep it
- Claims: 24 months, in case a signup is disputed
- Email from the email box: 24 months, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it
- Your account and access: for as long as your access lasts, then 12 more months
- Generation history: until you delete it or your account is closed
- The
pfd_claimcookie: 60 days, or until you clear it
Ask us to delete your account and we remove it, and everything linked to it, within 30 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@openartstarterpack.com and we answer within 30 days.
In the UK or the EU you can also object to or restrict processing, get your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority. We rely on contract (giving you the access you claimed), legitimate interests (running the service and preventing fraud) and consent (analytics and marketing emails). You can withdraw consent at any time.
Emails
If you claim access, we email what you need to use it: your sign-in code and anything that affects whether the tools keep working. These are service emails and continue while you have an account.
If you gave us your email in the email box and we still cannot find your OpenArt signup, you get no more than two reminders: the first when your email is a day old, the last when it is two days old. Two is the ceiling, and they end as soon as your access is on.
Each reminder has a one-click unsubscribe, and it is permanent. Clicking a button on the site again does not add you back.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we email you before the change applies. We do not just change a date and hope you notice.
